How to Add Custom Domain Name in Blogger?

Adding a custom domain name to Blogger is very easy. If you have a free blog and you want to add your domain name to it, then follow it.

PART-1

1. Open blogger.com in your computer's browser and log in with your Gmail account.
2. Here on the blog on which you want to add your custom domain, go to Settings >> Basic.
3. Below your blog address will be + Set up a third-party URL for your blog. Click here
4.  Now you have to enter your purchased domain here. Your domain must be in the format www.your-domain.com. After adding, click on the “Save” button.
5.  Now you will get an error message, "We have not been able to verify your authority to this domain." Error 14 ". This means that your domain's DNS (Domain Name System) has not been set to blogger. Here you will find records of 2 CNAMEs, which you have to add to your domain.
6. You can manually add these two CNAMEs, download the "DNS settings file" and upload it to Godaddy. Godaddy supports DNS file upload, so it will be easiest for you. After downloading the DNS settings file, move to the next part.

PART-2

Your work with Blogger has just finished. Now you have to go to Godaddy and add CNAME.

2. 1) Go to Godaddy.com and login to your account.
3. 2) After login, click on your profile and select "Manage My Domains".
4. 3) In the next page, click on Manage next to Domains.
5. 4) Here you will get the list of your domain. Select your domain
6. 5) Now you go to DNS ZONE FILE and click there in More >> Import Zone File.
7. 6) Now you have to upload by selecting previously downloaded. Then click on the “SAVE” button.
8. 7) Now you will get a message, "Records not containing errors have been successfully saved". This means your DNS file was uploaded properly.

PART-3

1. 1) Now come back to the blogger, save it. After saving it will look something like this.
2. 2) Now you have to click on Edit and tick the Redirect option and give it a Save Care.
